In Church Service with Zoom Stream via https://us02web.zoom.us/j/459569403

Led by Barrie Peterson, one of our U.S. zoom congregants. He will be in Scotland
and leading our service in person from St. Mark's, where we will welcome our community back into church. In addition, the service will be streamed online via our normal Zoom link as well as virtual
Teas & Coffees online, but on a different link given belowl.

Barrie has kindly sent an introduction, as follows:
I will discuss immigration, using my Scots Irish forebears and Push vs. Pull motivations.
My McCauleys became enslavers in the American south.
What is my responsibility knowing this and having benefited? What is the University of Glasgow doing in reparations for their benefiting from 19th Century slave-enabled businesses?
Why did abolitionist Frederick Douglass tell Scots Presbyterians to "send the money back"?
Why am I considering becoming an expat in Scotland?

The Castle Chorus will be with us and sing three uplifting songs of adversity overcome and community found.

A little about Barrie:
